Catherine Price Passes Examination for Waves
Catherine Price, accompanied by her mother, Mrs. Charles Price, was in Des Moines Monday, where the Greene girl passed physical examinations to qualify for the Waves. She is on the waiting list for this branch of service and expects to be sworn in sometime in January.

Greene - Catherine Price, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Price of Greene, has left for New York for induction in to the Waves at Hunter college. She enlisted in November and has been teaching in rural school No. 5 in Coldwater township while awaiting her call.

Catherine Price, seaman second class of the WAVES, arrived last night to spend a leave in the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Price in Greene. Catherine is stationed at the naval base at Arlington, Virginia.
