Three local WAVES left the first of the week after having visited relatives and friends for seven days on a delay enroute on travel time.
Winifred Plumb, Y 3/c, left Sunday night for San Diego and will be assigned to duty somewhere in the 11th Naval district. She has been in Stillwater, Okla., for three months.
Marjorie Drayton, Y 3/c, left Sunday for Washington, D.C., for assignment to duty. She has been stationed at Stillwater, Okla.
Maxine Brundage left Monday night for San Francisco for further assignment. She came from Milledgeville, Georgia, where she has had three months training as storekeeper.
Margaret Plumb, sister of Winifred, will complete her boot training at Hunters College, New York, this week and will then be assigned elsewhere for further training.
