Mr. and Mrs. Scott C. Pidgeon, 1307 Forty-fourth st., announce the engagement and approaching marriage of their daughter, Marian, to Lieut. Robert A. McCloskey, son of Mr. and Mrs. E. Ray McCloskey of Binghampton, N.Y. The wedding will take place Oct. 27 in Fresno, Cal.
Miss Pidgeon is a graduate of Roosevelt high school and attended Drake university where she became a member of Kappa Kappa Gamma sorority and Alpha Lambda Delta, honorary society. She was graduated from the State University of Iowa in Iowa City, Ia. She now is employed by the American Red Cross and is stationed at Hammer Field, Cal, where she is hospital recreation worker.
Lieutenant McClosky attended Colgate university where he was a member of the Alpha Tau Omega fraternity. He is stationed at Lemoore field with the medical administration corps.
