Jennie Mae ‘Mae’ Peterson was born Jan. 7, 1917 to Walter H. and Anna V. Erickson Peterson.
She served with the Army Nurse Corps at Camp Robinson, Ark. She also served in England where she was in charge of surgery in the hospital where she was stationed.
She was married to and divorced from Harry Russell Sylce.
Mae died Apr. 25, 2001 and is buried in Glen Haven Memorial Park, Glen Burnie, MD.
