Former Fayette Man Marries
Miss Ione Peterson, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Lauren Peterson of Floyd, Iowa, was married to William Campbell, son of Mr. and Mrs. Will Campbell of Waterloo, at the Little Brown Church at Nashua Saturday. The groom was graduated from the Fayette school in 1941.
The couple was attended by Inez Campbell, sister of the groom and Virgil Campbell, the groom's brother.

Mrs. Campbell was graduated from the Floyd high school with the class of 1942 and was employed at the Peerless studio in Charles City until she enlisted in the WAVES. After 20 months in the service as HA 1/c when she service in the US navy hospital at Shoemaker, Calif, she was given an honorable discharge. This was at Balboa, Calif on March 25, 1946. Since then she has been employed in the John Deere office in Waterloo.
After being graduated from Fayette high school, the groom was employed at the John Deere Co. He served in the naval air transport service, Pacific wing, and on the USS Manila Bay as an ensign. He was discharged June 17 this year at Jacksonville, Fla., and since then has been employed at the John Deere Co.
