Mary Jeanette Meyers Pate was born Jan. 1, 1919 to Vern L. and Faye B. Parkin Meyers. She died Aug. 22, 1991 and is buried in Memorial Park Cemetery, Amarillo, TX.
Capt. Pate served in World War II with the U.S. Army Medical Corps and was a dietitian at Harmon General Hospital, Longview, TX. She was married to Lt. Col. Jesse Lee Pate, Jr. who served in World War II with the U.S. Army Air Corps. He was born Feb. 22, 1917 and died Oct. 6, 1986.
