Mary Jane O’Donnell Austerman was born Feb. 4, 1917 to Martin Walter and Frances Malloy O’Donnell. She died Jan. 13, 1996 and is buried in Saint Anthonys Cemetery, Sanborn, SD.
Lt. O'Donnell served in World War II with the U.S. Army Nurse Corps. She was married to Joseph Victor Austerman.
