Katherine McDonald, Seaman 1/c, is spending a week with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. C.W. McDonald at 815 Eighth st.
Katherine has recently completed advanced training at Milledgeville, Ga., and will report to New York City where she will be stationed.

Katherine Laird “Katie” McDonald Martin was born June 5, 1924 to Clair Wood and Janet Laird McDonald. She died Aug. 26, 2014 and is buried in Hope Presbyterian Gardens of Hope and Columbarium, Winter Haven, FL.
Petty Officer McDonald served in World War II with the U.S. Navy WAVES in New York City.
