WOMEN IN SERVICE
Word has been received here that Second Lieut. Mary Catherine Maher of the army nurses corps is now stationed somewhere in Alaska. Lieutenant Maher, a 1942 graduate of the Mercy hospital school of nursing, has been stationed at the army hospital in Ft. Francs E. Warren, Wyo.

Word has been received here that Second Lieut. Mary Catherine Maher has been promoted to the rank of first lieutenant. Lieutenant Maher is stationed with the army nurses corps in Anchorage, Alaska. She is the daughter of Mr. Phil Maher, 605 South Clinton street.
