Opal Pauline Livingood Kuhse was born Dec. 8, 1922 to Cecil Edwin and Amanda Claudine Beisker Livingood. She died June 2, 2010 and is buried in Bethlehem Presbyterian Church Cemetery, Postville, IA.
Cpl. Livingood served in World War II with the U.S. Army Air Corps 327th and 310th Base Units as an airplane instrument mechanic. She earned the World War II Victory Medal, the American Theater Service Medal, and the Good Conduct Medal. She was married to Milo Henry Kuhse.
