Lavina B. Lippincott To Air Ferry School
Miss Lavina B. Lippincott, 2336 East Thirteenth st, will report Dec. 6 at Sweetwater, Tex., for the women's flying training program under the ferry command. She formerly taught radio mechanics in the army air forces technical training school in Hotel Stevens at Chicago, Ill. That school no longer is functioning.

Lavina B. Lippincott, daughter of Mrs. Ruth Lippincott, 2336 E. Thirteenth st., is a member of the graduation class of women's air force service pilots at Avenger field, Sweetwater, Tex.
Miss Lippincott is graduate of East High school and a former student of Drake university. Prior to her enlistment in the WASP, she served as a radio mechanics instructor in the army air forces technical training command an as a junior weather observer. She began flying with the civilian pilot training program at Drake university five years ago.
Miss Lippincott is a member of the National Aeronautics association, Aircraft Owners and Pilots association and the 99 Club of Women Flyers.
