Louise Elizabeth “Bette” Lynch Lensing was born June 8, 1922 to Edwin and Mayme Tompkins Lynch. She died Sept. 13, 2012 and is buried in Iowa Veterans Cemetery, Adel, IA.
2nd Lt. Lensing served in World War II with the U.S. Army Nurse Corps in the Philippines. She was married to James P. “Jim” Lensing. Jim served with the U.S. Marine Corps in World War II.
