Oelwein Girl to Train as Marine
Oelwein, Ia. - Miss Cora E. Lemcke, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. R.J. Lemcke, Oelwein, will leave Tuesday morning to enter training in the Marine corps women's reserve at Camp Lejeune, New River, N.C.
For the last years she has been employed as a secretary in the superintendent's office of the Rath Packing company at Waterloo.
Miss Lemcke was sworn into the Marine corps women's reserve at the Iowa-Nebraska headquarters, Des Moines.
