Margaret Eleanor Kramer, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Joe Kramer of Remsen, has been appointed a second lieutenant in the Army Nurse Corps and will report for duty at Camp Carson, Colo., on or about April 10, to begin the necessary period of Army training. Following the training period, Lt. Kramer will be assigned to a unit now experiencing a critical shortage of nurses.
