Six Kossuth Girls Leave for WAVE Training Tuesday
The 6:30 bus Tuesday morning carried six Kossuth girls who are on their way to take training for the WAVES. They reported at Camp Dodge Tuesday and from there will proceed to Chicago and then on to Hunters College, New York, for the regular course in training. The girls were:
Maxine Brundage, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. G. D. Brundage, Algona.
Mary Virginia Knudsen, daughter of Jens Knudsen, Algona.
Marjorie Drayton, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Will Drayton, Algona.
Winifred Plumb, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Fred W. Plumb, Algona.
Lucille Kuecker, daughter of Mrs. Ida Kuecker, Lone Rock.
Hazel Johnson, Swea City.
