Lt. Alice L. Knight

 

 

 

Staff Srgt. Gladys Knight with the WAC in Washington, D.C. is passing a 10-day furlough with her mother, Mrs S. Minerva Knight, 1024 East Burlington street. Sergeant Knight was graduated last month form the University of Iowa. Also visiting her mother is Miss Alice Knight, a cadet nurse from the Minnesota General hospital. She will spend a week in Iowa City.

WOMEN IN SERVICE

Alice Louise Knight, daughter of Mrs. Minerva Knight, 1024 East Burlington street, has been appointed a second lieutenant in the army nurse corps and will report for duty at Camp Carson, Colo., June 4. Following the army training period, Lieutenant Knight will receive her permanent assignment.

Second Lieut. Alice L. Knight, daughter of Mrs. Minerva Knight, 1024 Easy Burlington street, is now in training as an army nurse at Camp Carson, Colo. A sister, Gladys, is a staff sergeant in the WACs stationed in Washington, D.C.

Miss Knight and Mr. Fulljames Married in Service in Germany

Berlin, Germany was the exciting setting for the wedding of Miss Gladys Susan Knight, daughter of Mrs. Minerva Shelburne Knight, 1024 East Burlington street, and Mr. William Richard Fulljames, son of Mr and Mrs. W.R Fulljames of Chicago, Ill., November 23.
