Dorothy Jane King, 20, seaman second class, daughter of Mrs. Velda King, 416 Church street, has completed her basic training and indoctrination course at the naval training school for WAVES at The Bronx, N.Y. She has now received orders to report to Link Trainer Instructor school at Atlanta, Ga. for further instruction.
Prior to entering the naval service, Seaman King was employed in the pathology department of the University hospital. She is a graduate of Iowa City high school.

Seaman First Class Dorothy J. King, a link trainer instructor in the WAVES, recently spent a short leave with her mother, Mrs. Velda King, 415 Church street. A graduate of Iowa City high school, Seaman King is stationed in Whiting Field in Milton, Fla.
