Awaits Order
Dorothy Helen Launspach of 2015 Fortieth place has been sworn in as a specialist in the women's army auxiliary corps and now is awaiting orders to report for training at Fort Des Moines.
The daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Launspach, she is now employed in the policy loan division of the Equitable Life Insurance Co.
Miss Launspach is a graduate of Grinnell collage at Grinnell, Ia., where she was an honor student. She graduated from Lincoln High school in Des Moines and received her business training at Capital City Commercial college, here.

Dorothy Launspach To Get WAAC Bars
Miss Dorothy H. Launspach, 24, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Launspach, 2015 Fortieth place, will be commissioned a second lieutenant in the WAAC at 10 a.m. today at officer candidate graduation exercises at Fort Des Moines
Miss Launspach is a graduate of Lincoln High school and of Grinnell College, Grinnell, Ia where she majored in journalism. She was employed by the Equitable Life Insurance Co of Iowa before enlisting in the WAAC.

MARRIED IN FLORIDA
Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Launspach, 2015 Fortieth st., announce the marriage of their daughter, Dorothy Helen, lieutenant in the Women's' Army Corps, to Walter A. Keenan, U.S. Army, of Philadelphia, Penn., which took place Dec. 18 at the First Presbyterian church in Daytona Beach, Fla.
Mrs. Keenan was graduated from Lincoln High school and Capital City commercial college in Des Moines and Grinnell college, where she was an honor student, affiliated with Theta Sigma Phi. She received the national Sigma Delta Chi award for scholarship.
Prior to her enlistment, she was employed by the Equitable Life Insurance Co of Iowa.
Sergeant Keenan has been assigned to the headquarters detachment in South Carolina, He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. James Keenen of Philadelphia, Penn.
