Joins WAACS
Reinbeck, Ia. -- Miss Doris Hornig, 21-year-old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ed Hornig, is the first Reinbeck girl to enlist her services to the Womens' Army Auxiliary corps. Doris was sworn in at Des Moines Thursday and after a few days will visit with her parents returned to her position at Moline, Ill., until she is called.

REINBECK WAC VISITS
Reinbeck, Ia. -- Pfc. Doris Hornig of the WAC, arrived here Sunday from Randolph Field, Tex., for a 10-day visit at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Ed Hornig. Miss Hornig has been in the WAC seven months and is in motor transportation.
