NURSE PROMOTED - Miss Patricia Hofler, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. E.C. Hofler, Nora Springs, who was stationed with the 185th General hospital in England the past year, has been promoted to 1st Lieutenant. She was graduated from Nora Springs high school and later from nurse training at Mercy hospital, Mason City. She enlisted in the air corps in April 1943, was at the Station hospital at the Sioux City air base for a year, then went across.
