Phyllis J. Grant, formerly of Des Moines and a graduate of Drake university, has been commissioned an ensign in the WAVES and assigned to active duty
Her present home is Los Angeles, Cal.
Before entering the service, she taught at Spring Hill, Ia., and Madrid, Ia.
