WOMEN IN SERVICE
Lieut. Helen Gough of the army nurse corps left this afternoon for Tuscaloosa, Ala., following a week's leave in the home of her mother, Mrs. John Gough, 315 North Van Buren street. Last evening Lieutenant Gough and her mother were dinner guests in the home of Mr. and Mrs. W.T. Shay, 820 East Fairchild street.

WOMEN IN SERVICE
Helen K. Gough, serving with the army nurses corps in France, has been promoted from second to first lieutenant. She is the daughter of Mrs. John F. Gough, 215 North Van Buren street.
Lieutenant Gough was graduated from St. Patrick's high school and the Mercy hospital school of nursing. Following several years of private duty work in Iowa City and Chicago, she entered service in July 1942. She has been overseas since October 12, 1944.
