Iowa Falls, Ia. -- Miss Ruby Folks, daughter of W.C. Folks, has enlisted in the Waves. She is a teacher of a rural school in Hardin County. She is a graduate of Ellsworth Junior college. She has two brothers in service. Warren was inducted into the army about two years ago, and is now in North Africa. Robert is in the marines, and is in training at San Diego Cal Miss Folks expects to be called for training at the close of spring term, about May 1.

IOWA FALLS VISITOR

Iowa Falls, Ia. -- Miss Ruby Folks, pharmacist's mate third class in the Waves, will leave Monday after spending a few days with her father, W.C. Folks, and other relatives. She received her training at Hunter college, and has been on duty at a hospital in Bainbridge, Md., but has been assigned to a new location. She was a teacher in a rural school prior to her enlistment.

Iowa Falls WAVE Married in Seattle

Iowa Falls, Ia. -- Ruby Folks pharmacist's mate 2nd class in the WAVES, and William Overhauser, U.S.N., were married in Seattle , Wash., March 18. The ceremony was read by Navy Chaplain J. Hartzell. Mrs. Overhauser is a daughter of W.C. Folks of Iowa Falls; she is a graduate of Ellsworth junior college and taught in rural schools in the vicinity for two years before she enlisted n the WAVES. Mr. Overhauser has had service in the south Pacific and is now at the naval hospital in Seattle.
