Davenport Mother Joins the WACS; Daughter Is Member
Mrs. Emily Dyblis, former employee of the Rock Islands arsenal and a resident of the Lend-a-Hand club, has enlisted in the WACS. She was sworn into the service in July. She will leave the latter part of the month for her basic training.
Mrs. Dyblis has a daughter is the WACs who enlisted in Minneapolis and recently completed her basic training at Ft. Des Moines.

DYBLIS ASSIGNED WITH WAC UNIT TO CALIFORNIA POST
Pvt. Emily M. Dyblis, Davenport, is a member of the Womens' Army corps unit into which recently left the First WAC training center at Ft. Des Moines, Ia., for duty with the army at Camp Beale, Calif.
