ENLISTS IN WAVES -- Miss Goldie G. Cox, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. C.W. Cox, route 2, Mason City, left Tuesday for Hunter College, New York, to begin her boot training in he WAVES. Miss Cox plans to be a hospital corpsman. She is a graduate of the Mason City high school and had been employed in a munitions plant at Baraboo, Wis. Her sister, Miss June Cox, is a baker-2-c in the WAVES.
