Sheldon, Iowa – Miss Doreen Cobb of Sheldon, former music instructor in Cedar Rapids high school, has enlisted in the Waves. Miss Cobb was graduated from the Sheldon High School and junior college and Iowa State Teachers College. While studying for her master degree at the University of Iowa she taught one year in the Iowa City High School.

DOREEN CLAUDIA COBB, specialist (T) 3/c, is a link trainer instructor at the Corpus Christi, Texas naval air station. Miss Cobb, who taught at Fillmore school in Cedar Rapids, now teaches cadets to fly blind by use of instruments alone. The sister of Marvin M. Cobb, 2320 E avenue NE, she lived at 1570 Second avenue SE.
