Here and There
STILSON -- Delores Busse, S 2/c, now on direct assignment at the naval air station at Ottumwa, was a weekend visitor in the home of her mother, Mrs. Catherine Busse. Delores was one of the first girls from Hancock county to join the WAVES and after her induction she was sent to Hunter college, New York for her training. While in New York she had the opportunity of visiting and seeing the Empire building, Rockefeller center and hearing China's first lady, Madam Chiang-Kai-Shek.
