Jane Beverly Brown was born July 22, 1925 to Harvey H. and Caroline E. Sharp Brown. She died Nov. 27, 2017 and is buried in Iowa Veterans Cemetery, Adel, IA.
Sgt. Brown served with the WACs in World War II and the U.S. Air Force from 1950-1953. She was with the Army Reserves from 1965-1985. She also completed Motor Transport School and Non-Commissioned Officers School. She was nominated Iowa Soldier of the Year in 1985.
