Pvt. Betty May Brown, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Klein, WAC in the medical division, recently completed her basic training at Ft. Des Moines and has reported to Brook General hospital, Ft. Sam Houston, Tex.
Before entering the service in January 1945, Mrs. Brown was employed by the Bettendorf Ordinance Steel Foundry Co.
Her husband, Pvt. Lawrence Brown, has been overseas with the infantry since November 1944. He is at present in a hospital in Luxembourg after having been wounded Jan. 19, 1945 in Luxembourg.
Pvt. Brown entered the service June 1944 and received his basic training at Camp Wheeler, Ga. He was formerly employed by the Sherwin-Williams Paint Co.
