Jean Kathryn Broshar, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. A. G. Broshar, 116 Home Park boulevard, was recently commissioned an ensign in the Waves at the midshipmen's school, Northampton, Mass., and has been assigned to duty in the bureau of naval personnel, Washington, D.C. it is revealed Saturday in a press release. Ensign Broshar, a graduate of Iowa State Teachers college, Cedar Falls, was employed in Chicago prior to entering service.
