Des Moines in the Services
Alyce B. Boyvey, a graduate of Iowa Methodist hospital school, has been commissioned a second lieutenant in the army nurse corps. She now is taking her training at Camp White, Ore., and will then report to Hoff general hospital, Santa Barbara, Cal.

Lt. Alyce B. Boyvey, in the army nurse corps, is home on a 45-day terminal leave, visiting her brother, E.C. Boyvey, 1509 Thirty-fourth st. She served in France a year at the 226th general hospital, and has a battle star. She was placed on inactive duty at Fort Bliss, Tex.
