Marjorie Marie Arrasmith Adkins was born Jan. 25, 1923 to Claridon Earl and Agatha Pearl Stull Arrasmith. She died Sept. 15, 2008 and is buried in Fairview Cemetery, Burnsville, NC.
Petty Officer Arrasmith served with the U.S. Navy WAVES in World War II and was stationed at the Naval Air Base, Philadelphia, PA, in the personnel office. She was married to Dee Adkins who also served in World War II and Korea as a Lieutenant with the U.S. Navy.
