Elizabeth S. Scholl Now in Great Britain
Mr. and Mrs. Guilfrod Darby Scholl, 2108 Grand avenue, have received word from the American Red Cross headquarters that their daughter, Elizabeth Shippen Scholl, has arrived somewhere in Great Britain, where she will be staff assistant at an American Red Cross club.
She had finished her Red Cross training and was on extension work at Richmond, Va. when she was called for overseas duty
Miss Scholl, who was assistant for director of public affairs of Fawcett Publication in New York City, offered her services for overseas duty and reported to Washington, D.C. for training May 15, after spending two weeks visiting her parents in Davenport.

Davenporter Returns From Overseas Duty
Miss Elizabeth S. Scholl, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Guilford Darby Scholl of 2108 Grand avenue, Davenport, returned home this morning after serving 16 months overseas with the Red Cross.
She has been editor of the Red Cross magazine "Over Here" published at the continental Red Cross headquarters in Paris.
Miss Scholl arrived several days ago in New York on the M.S. John Ericsson, a troop ship, and came to Davenport by airplane.
Miss Scholl plans to remain here for a few weeks before returning to New York City where she was assistant to the director of public affairs of Fawcett Publications in New York City before entering the Red Cross overseas unit.
She began her work overseas with the clubmobile unit in London and rural England.
