Quits Stage To Go With USO Show
Frederika, Ia. – John Frederick, motion picture and stage actor, who taught school here from 1940 to 1942, has left the Broadway production, “Catherine Was Great,” starring Mae West, to accept the invitation of the USO to entertain American troops throughout the world. He has been awarded the top role in the USO touring unit of Agatha Christie’s “Ten Little Indians.” John is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Stiffler of Norwalk, Ia.
