Lloyd F. Young was born Oct. 31, 1912 to Lou A. and Fay E. Young. He died Aug. 15, 1945 and is buried in Riverside Cemetery, Charles City, IA.
Sgt. Young served in World War II with the U.S. Army 3458th Ordnance Co. and died as the result of a vehicle accident while in the service of his country in France.
