Eugene Wesley Young was born Oct. 9, 1924 to John W. and Winnifred Munyon Young. He died Dec. 6, 1943 and is memorialized at the Tablets of the Missing, North Africa American Cemetery, Tunis, Tunisia and in Highland Memory Gardens, Des Moines, IA.
Pvt. Young served in World War II with the U.S. Army 168th Infantry Regiment, 34th Infantry Division and was MIA/FOD/KIA while serving his country.
