Carroll Keith Wood was born Dec. 3, 1924 to Frederick Daniel and Beulah Clouse Wood. He died Oct. 3, 2003 and is buried in the Iowa Veterans Cemetery, Van Meter, IA.
Private Wood enlisted in the signal corps Dec. 1942. He was later assigned as a scout and observer with the First battalion headquarters, 97th infantry, 366th infantry regiment.
