Sgt. William "Bill" Winterlin, overseas for 14 months, is spending a 30-day furlough with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. W. Winterlin, 2940 Sunset Circle. Stationed in Italy with the 47th quartermaster (G.R.) company, Fifth army, Sgt. Winterlin wears the meritorious unit citation, good conduct medal and the eastern Asia, Mediterranean, European and African theater ribbons with three battle stars. He has been in the service for two and one-half years.
