Pvt. John H. Wingert has completed a 30-day furlough with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. John Wingert of Sioux City and wife, who reside at 134 Kansas Street. Pfc. Wingert served 15 months with a tank destroyer reconnaissance company in Ireland, England and France. He received the Purple Heart, as the result of wounds received in action in France. Pvt. Wingert has reported to Menlo Park, California for reassignment.
