Lewis E. Wilsey was born Nov. 2, 1913 to Henry Edward “Ed” and Susie Ochsenbecher Wilsey. He died Aug. 21, 1944 and is buried in Kahoka Cemetery, Kahoka, Mo.
Cpl. Wilsey served in World War II with the U.S. Army 426th Medical Collecting Company and died while in the service of his country. He was awarded the Bronze Star and Purple Heart.
