Franklin Williams, machinist’s mate second class, is on leave with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Albert Williams, 212 W 16th Street. Machinist Williams, who has been in the navy for seven months saw action in North Atlantic waters. He is a Central High School graduate.

Franklin Loyd Williams was born Mar. 22, 1921 to Albert and Viola Gudgell Williams. He died June 5, 2007 and is buried in Logan Park Cemetery, Sioux City, IA.
Franklin served with the U.S. Navy in World War II.
