IN MERCHANT MARINES
Francis C. H. Williams, son of Mr. and Mrs. John H. Williams of this city, has joined the merchant marine and will leave for duty from San Francisco, Cal., Friday. He has been employed in California the past three years, in aircraft work.

Francis Cecil Williams was born June 13, 1913 to John and Helen Williams. He died Nov. 1963 and is buried in Calvary Cemetery, Webster City, IA.
Francis served in World War II with the Merchant Marines.
