Darwyn James Williams was born Nov. 6, 1922 to Arthur E. and Lenore E. Walsh Williams.
Ensign Williams served in the U.S. Navy in World War II aboard the USS LST 828 and USS LST 1083 in the Pacific. He was a gunnery officer.
He died Dec. 14, 2016 and is buried in Calvary Cemetery, Webster City, IA.
