Blaine Bertrand Wilcox was born Feb. 2, 1918 to Henry Bert and Cecil Effedel Anderson Wilcox. He died Oct. 7, 1944 and is buried in Zachary Taylor National Cemetery, Louisville, KY. His body was returned Feb. 9, 1950.
Lt. Wilcox served in World War II with the U.S. Army Air Corps as a bombardier with the 613th Squadron, 401st Bomb Group, Station 128 at Deenethorpe, England. He was MIA/KIA by flak over the target Politz.
