George Earl Whitney was born Sept. 17, 1908 to Delvin E. and Mary Luella Stream Whitney. He died Aug. 1, 1944 and is buried in Highland Township Cemetery, Churdan, IA.
Pvt. Whitney served in World War II with the U.S. Army and died of wounds received in action in France.
