Robert Owen White was born Aug. 15, 1919 to Lewis J. and Myrtle M. House White. He died Apr. 21, 1994 at Little Cormorant Lake, MN.
Col. White served with the U.S. Marine Corps in World War II, Korea and Vietnam. His first assignment was at Guadalcanal. After his tour of duty there, he returned to Pensacola, FL as a flight instructor.
