Richard D. White was born July 26, 1918 to James and Emma Staley White. He died Jan. 6, 1945 and is buried in Epinal American Cemetery, Dinoze, France.
Pvt. White served in World War II with the U.S. Army 232nd Infantry Regiment, 42nd Infantry Division and was KIA in France. He was awarded the Silver Star and Purple Heart.
