Danbury Soldier in England on Radio
Danbury -- Special: Sergeant Francis Welte, son of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Welte of Danbury, was heard on a radio program from London by the British Broadcasting corporation program entitled Stars and Stripes in Britain. The participants of these programs are American soldiers, sailors, marines and air force personnel. Mr. and Mrs. Welte received a letter, previous to the broadcast from the British Broadcasting Corporation, notifying them their son would be on the program.
