Tom Wayne was born Nov. 22, 1917 to Oscar and Inger T. Risscon Wayne. He died Feb. 19, 1943 and is buried in Holmes Lutheran Cemetery, Holmes, IA.
Lt. Wayne served with Co. A, 26th Inf. Div., U.S. Army in World War II. He was KIA during the battle in North Africa which took place between Feb. 14 and 20.
