Arthur A. Tuchek was born Dec. 18, 1918 to Charles and Stella Tuchek. He died Aug. 24, 1943 and is memorialized at the Walls of the Missing, Manila American Cemetery, Taguig City, Philippines.
Sgt. Tuchek served with the U.S. Army Air Corps as a crew member on a B-24 Liberator bomber with the 425th Bomber Squadron, 308th Bomber Group in World War II and was MIA/KIA/FOD near Hsien-Ning, Hepeh Province, China as the result of enemy aircraft fire. He was awarded the Purple Heart and Air Medal.
